Ground screw for pillars with a 60mm diameter
Can be used for any pillar with a 60mm diameter.
Can be used for any pillar with a 60mm diameter.
Ground screws are ideal for the fast installation of structures such as greenhouses and tunnels. Being pre-assembled units, they reduce labor and assembly time, and installation is very simple: no drilling, welding, or heavy machinery!
The ground screw is a tube with threaded blades of a specific configuration. Because of this design, the ground screw is easily installed in the ground by the screwing method.
The ground screws are zinc hot dip galvanized according to ISO 1461 on both inside and outside surfaces, which provides corrosion resistance, sustainability, and a longer lifetime (up to 120 years).
The angle of inclination of the thread ensures quick and easy installation, and the total area of the threads ensures maximum load-bearing capacity.
The forged cone:
- eliminates the destruction of the conic part in difficult installation conditions
- loosening of the soil during the installation of the pile is excluded
- less prone to deformation and allows easy passage through obstacles underground.
Advantages of ground screws:
- timesaving on foundation work
- solving problems with weak soil
- easy installation
- no weather impact
- ground screws minimize waste and environmental impact during the installation and exploitation
- fast installation (either manually or using a tractor or mini excavator with a rotating head
- they can be used for a different location later
Different head types are designed to connect to various structures. For example, the round head can be used for tunnels and greenhouses with 60mm diameter pipes, while the flat head can be used for greenhouses and tunnels that are installed using bases to pillars:
The ground screws can be installed using either of 3 methods:
1. Manual – an installation method for several people provided with a special manual tool. Each person should pull on either side of the handle until the ground screw is fully installed. This method could be used for screws with lengths up to 1500mm (two people) or up to 3000 (four people).
2. Hand-held electric driver – a comfortable installation method, suitable for one person. It could be used for places with tight space and for ground screws with lengths up to 3000mm.
3. Machine-mounted hydraulic driver – a professional installation method, suitable for the large projects with massive ground screws or hard soil conditions using a variety of low speed, high torque drivers.
